Iris van Herpen is one of the world's leading Haute Couture designers, renowned for redefining fashion through innovation, craftsmanship, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Working at the intersection of fashion, science, nature, technology, architecture and art, the maison continuously explores new ways of creating and experiencing Couture.

We are hiring a Head of Collaborations to work directly alongside Iris van Herpen and lead the development of the maison's international collaborations and special projects.

This is a multidisciplinary role for someone who feels equally at home speaking with luxury brands, scientists, artists, architects, technology partners and museum curators. You will oversee collaborations from the earliest conversations through to their final realization, while supporting Iris across commercial collaborations, performances, Haute Couture shows and the many creative initiatives that define the atelier.

Working as one of Iris's closest collaborators, you will help translate ambitious ideas into meaningful projects that expand the universe of Iris van Herpen.

Your Responsibilities

Collaborations

• Lead the development and coordination of international collaborations across fashion, art, science, technology, and architecture.

• Manage relationships with museums, cultural institutions, artists, brands, researchers, and creative partners.

• Prepare presentations, creative proposals, project overviews, and visual documentation.

• Coordinate timelines, budgets, deliverables, and communication across multiple international projects.

• Act as the primary liaison between Iris and external collaborators, ensuring projects progress seamlessly from concept to completion.

• Assist in developing new exhibition and collaboration concepts and public programming.

Haute Couture

• Support Iris in parts of the development of her Haute Couture collection.

• Coordinate collaborations connected to runway presentations.

• Assist in preparations leading up to Paris Haute Couture Week.

Creative Support

• Research new collaborators, technologies and cultural developments.

• Help develop concepts for future projects.

• Prepare visual presentations and creative proposals.

• Support Iris in the day-to-day development of multidisciplinary projects.

Creative Assignment

Prepare one A4 page presenting your concept for a new collaboration between Iris van Herpen and NASA.

Your proposal should include:

• The central concept and vision for the collaboration.

• How the collaboration aligns with the values and creative universe of the maison.

• What the final outcome could be and how you would bring the collaboration to life.

You are welcome to include sketches, mood imagery, or other visuals if they help to express your idea.
